Agreement

By creating a JodiQ account you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who may use JodiQ

You may use JodiQ only if you are legally allowed to marry under Indian law — 21 or older for men, 18 or older for women — and are genuinely seeking marriage.

You may create a profile for yourself or for a close family member, with their knowledge and consent. One person, one profile.

Your promises to us

You agree that you will:

• Give true information about yourself, including your marital status.
• Upload only photos of yourself, which you have the right to use.
• Treat other members respectfully.

You agree that you will not:

• Impersonate anyone, or create a fake or duplicate profile.
• Ask members for money, or promote any business, scheme or investment.
• Harass, threaten, abuse or stalk anyone.
• Share obscene, unlawful or hateful content.
• Copy, scrape or collect other members' information.
• Use JodiQ for anything other than seeking marriage.

We are an introduction service only

JodiQ helps you find and contact people. We do not arrange marriages, act as a broker, or guarantee any outcome.

We do not conduct background checks. A verified badge means we checked a photo ID — it does not mean we have confirmed anything else about that person, including their character, income, family or intentions. Please verify independently before making any commitment.

Subscriptions and payment

• Free accounts can start two conversations and send two messages in each.
• A paid subscription removes those limits and adds other features, as described when you subscribe.
• Payments are handled by Razorpay. Prices include applicable taxes.
• Subscription fees are not refundable once the plan is active, except where Indian law requires a refund, or where we have charged you in error. See Refund & Cancellation.
• Paying does not guarantee matches, replies or a marriage.
• If we suspend your account for breaking these terms, no refund is due.

Your content

Your photos and profile text remain yours. By uploading them you give us permission to display them within JodiQ to other members, according to your privacy settings. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

Suspension and removal

We may suspend or remove any account that breaks these terms, is reported by multiple members, or appears fraudulent. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why.

You can delete your own account at any time in Settings.

Limits of our responsibility

JodiQ is provided as it is. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

We are not responsible for the conduct of any member, online or in person, or for decisions you make about a match. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be notified in the app. Continuing to use JodiQ means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
